The annual 5-May fair in Leiden is now well-known and the special market with local products is an extra pull for visitors. The fair and other activities take place annually on the Doezastraat and Herenstraat until the Vrijheidslaan.
Traditional Dutch products
Between 9 am and 5 pm you can buy dairy, honey, vegetables, sausage, fruit, seasonings and bread from the Leiden region at the local market. Non-food products such as wool, garden plants and timber products can also be purchased and viewed.
