€1000 subsidy for your personal Dutch course on 1 September 2022

| The Square Mile

Would you like to follow a personal Dutch course and receive €1000 STAP subsidy from the Dutch Government? Then now’s the time to act.

STAP budget is intended to support career mobility and is available to most adults in the Netherlands. You can apply for €1000 each year towards the cost of approved courses. The next application moment is 1 September 2022 at 10.00 and it is very much “first come, first served”. You are entitled to a STAP budget for a course if

  • you are older than 18 and younger than 67.
  • you or your partner have Dutch nationality or another nationality of a country within the European Union.
  • you have lived, worked or received benefits in the Netherlands for at least 6 months in the past 27 months.
  • you have not yet received your STAP budget this calendar year and there is still budget available.

The Expat Centre partners with The Square Mile Language Training in Leiden (TSM). TSM offers individual, 30 hour Dutch courses eligible for STAP subsidy. For more information, please visit Square Mile's website or call Richard, the owner and director, on 071 532 3356.
