Together with its partners the ArtEcho Foundation organises  the photo exhibition 'War Silence' by the famous French photographer Aurélien Villette. The exhibition will take place in the Galerie Zône in Leiden.  'War Silence' links the acts of war in Georgia and now, 30 years later in Ukraine (2022).

In 2016, during his world tour on the eastern Black Sea coast, the French photo artist and architectural photographer Aurélien Villette stopped in Abkhazia (Georgia), occupied by Russia since 1993. As a professional photographer, he created hundreds of photographic works for the 'Topophilia' ('Abandoned Places') series, 12 of which were exhibited at the Georgian National Museum in 2018. This brilliant photo collection is now coming to Leiden.

The photo artworks will be sold during the exhibition and one artwork will be raffled during the opening ceremony. The prices vary between € 1,800 and € 2,500.
