Some banks ask for a BRP extract (Uitreksel) when you apply for a bank account. This is to prove you have properly registered in the Personal Records Database (BRP).
It is possible to request this extract during your BSN registration appointment with Expat Centre Leiden. There is an additional administration cost of €14.30 that must be paid in cash to the municipality during your appoitnment. If you wish to receive an extract during your appointment, please contact jenny@expatcentreleiden.nl so that the municipality is alerted in advance.
Alternatively, you can contact your local municipality to arrange a seperate appointment to collect your BRP extract.
