The Expat Centre Leiden (ECL) offers government services, information and provides a network for internationals living or working in the Leiden region. Internationals can be registered by making an appointment, receive a BSN and receive information about living in the Netherlands.
For some services, a service fee will be charged.

As a result of the measures taken by the RIVM regarding the coronavirus, we have facilitated a temporary visiting address and adjusted opening hours until further notice. Our helpdesk is currently not open for walk-in visits, but we are still here to answer your questions.

Walk-ins without an appointment are temporarily not permitted to minimize contact due to the coronavirus.
It is possible to make a videocall appointment to ask questions on healthcare, housing, finding work, schooling, learning Dutch and more. Book a timeslot, currently only available on Tuesdays, for your videocall appointment here.
