Fantastic event in Leiden

What an amazing party it was! Leiden has shown itself from its best side. The city of Leiden and all parties concerned joined forces and managed to make the stay of the three DJs in the Glass House a most pleasant one. Despite the bad weather, many people made their way to the Beestenmarkt to be part of the Glass House experience, to encourage the DJs and, of course, to leave a donation in one of the famous mail boxes: due to the great number of donations, it was necessary to install, a third mailbox! The Beestenmarkt was buzzing with activities, just like the rest of Leiden: on the Sport en Gezondplein, the ice rink, the Christmas market, the Energieplein and at the Museum Volkenkunde. For a whole week, the entire city celebrated and together we managed to raise the amazing amount of 8.621.004,-! Unbelievable! This donation will enable the Red Cross to help many mothers in war zones to build a future. Talking about Christmas Spirit! We hope that all those who visited Leiden experienced what a great place it is. We hope to welcome you back here soon as there is so much more to discover in this beautiful city!
